Give Your Daughter a Hannah Montana Birthday Party

I'm suddenly seeing Miley Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana, all over the morning talk shows because of her upcoming new CD. She's been in the media spotlight for much of this year, and her popularity doesn't seem to have lessened, despite that controversial photo shoot in the spring. But what really gets me is the price some parents will pay to get tickets to her concert. One news story reported that tickets sell for as much as $2,000 apiece. You know the economy is still doing okay in the parts of the country where those tickets are selling! But for those of us who choose to feed our children's obsession on a slightly more modest budget, a Hannah Montana birthday party is a more affordable alternative.
