Don't believe that only the kids will enjoy these sweet and crunchy footballs. The grownups at your party will be fighting for their chance to score a few of these treats as well.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 10 ounces miniature marshmallows
  • 6 cups of your favorite chocolate crispy rice cereal
  • cooking spray
  • white decorator icing or gel

Preparation:

Melt butter in medium saute pan over low heat. Add marshmallows and continue to stir until melted. Add cereal to pot and continue stirring until evenly coated with marshmallow mixture. Remove from heat. Lightly spray your hands with cooking spray. Test for comfortable temperature before handling. Form 1/4 cup portions of mixture into football shapes with your hands and place on platter. Use frosting to create laces on top. Makes approximately 2 dozen footballs.
