Luckily I found this book and discovered that it's possible to make smoothies for more adult tastes and waistlines. Yes, you'll find a selection of sweet smoothies that will appeal to the kids in your household. But how about a smoothie that's a combination of peaches and ginger for you? Or maybe you enjoy drinking chai in the winter - here you'll find a refreshing chai drink for your blender. There's also recipes for frozen pops to delight young and old. And finally, there are the more healthful tonics that will satisfy your palate without taxing your scale. Surprisingly, the kids and adults in my household all enjoyed some of the seemingly odder combination in this book such as the Curb Your cravings smoothie that includes spinach, celery, apples, tahini and bananas among the ingredients.
