Guide Review - Serendipity Parties: Pleasantly Unexpected Ideas for Entertaining

One of the long-time, favorite restaurants in New York City has been Serendipity 3. It's a popular location for celebrating special events. But unlike formal restaurants where one might for for a special celebration, Serendipity is just the opposite - special because of its eclectic spirit of fun. This new book from restaurant co-founder Stephen Bruce provides abundant inspiration for bringing that same spirit of fun to your own parties. There are themes for birthday parties, Valentine's Day, wedding showers, and even a mystical seance party. With craft ideas, invitation suggestions, musical playlists and, of course, menus with recipes, you can't go wrong by following one of these themes. You may not choose to use every possible element for your party. But if you simply take a few ideas from a theme, your party will feel very creative to your guests.

This book is such a treat to flip through and peruse for ideas that you'll want to leave it on your coffee table just to indulge in the colorful layout and photographs whenever your spirits need a little boost.
