Guide Review - The Kellogg's Cookbook: 200 Classic Recipes for Today's Kitchen
Approximately half the book is devoted to desserts and breakfast dishes, but that doesn't trouble me, not when the recipes are this tasty. The RICE KRISPIES Cookies disappeared from my counter in less than two days. I can foresee working my way through many of these recipes with similar results.
Yet, despite the success of the recipes for both entertaining and family meals, the real hidden treat of this book lies in the old artwork from ads and packaging as well as the scattered black and white photos. This peek into America's past provides a fascinating look at the early efforts of one of the original consumer marketing success stories.
