An Ice Breaker Stranger than Fiction

You Can Learn A Lot About Your Guests with this Ice Breaker

By , About.com Guide

This week's tip was submitted by Kristine.

I think this icebreaker is suitable for the office, teenagers, kids, gatherings, and for just plain fun even if you don't need an icebreaker.

WHAT TO DO: Have each person write on a piece of paper two lies and one truth about themselves with their name at the top of the page. Fold each paper up, put in a basket and shake up. Have each person select a piece of paper out of the basket. Next, go around in a circle, taking turns, with each person telling their selected paper's owner which two statements are lies and which one is the truth. I found this game has opened my eyes and broke down a lot of walls when I've played it. Please take time to try this one!!!!

Thanks for the tip Kristine!
