What it Does:
Dries salad greens so that dressing will stick better!

There's only so hard you can shake a leaf of lettuce to remove the water. A salad spinner is a much better device for getting that job done. You can begin using the basket insert to wash the greens. Assemble the unit and spin away all of the water. Finally, you can turn the leaves into the outer bowl for a contemporary serving piece.
Why I Love It:
I love have efficiently this item gets the job done. I also like the fact that if I'm in a hurry to get the salad to the table , I won't need to dig out another serving bowl (one less piece to clean, too!)
