Forget the Dirty Dishes

Keep Things Tidy While Postponing the Cleanup for Tomorrow

By Donna Pilato, About.com

This tip was submitted by Charlie Torra.

For keeping your counters free of dirty dishes after a dinner party, have a wine box from your local liquor store handy to put in all the glassware and a heavy duty office box to put the dishes in. Put the pots and pans back in the cold oven and in the morning move everything to the dishwasher, put on soak and then wash. If you have ever had a meal catered then you see that is what they do. They move the mess off the table and into a box to be washed when everything returns to their facility.

Thanks for the tip Charlie!
