Set the Table

By , About.com Guide

Don't wait until your guests arrive to set the table. In fact, there's no need to even wait until the date of your event to prepare the table. As long as you don't have little children who like to perform the amazing tablecloth trick, or pets who like to dance on plates, set your table the night before your party. You'll avoid scrambling to find all the necessary utensils, dishes, and glassware, and if you find your tablecloth needs ironing, you'll have the time to do it!

Do you have a favorite entertaining tip? Send it to us using our simple submission form. If selected, I will post it with your name in future weeks.
