I suggest keeping the clear doggie-pods on hand, to hold party food, especially perishables as "take-homes." A pretty label that reads "And the party goes on..." affixed to the pod will bring a smile to your guests' faces. Making a display of see-through containers holding fruit, veggies, dessert or appetizers will be a graceful way to invite guests to select their after-party snack. You won't be left with food that might linger in your fridge a day and then possibly be discarded.
