Guide Review - Swiffer Carpet Cleaner
I never thought I'd meet a Swiffer product that I didn't like, but I guess there's a first time for everything. When I received the Swiffer Carpet Flick for review, I really hoped it would be the ideal cleaning product for last minute tidy ups before guests arrived. I hoped that it would make short work of those ever-present crumbs, paper bits, and yard soil found in homes with young children (namely mine!) Unfortunately I found that it didn't lift much of the dirt as easily and quickly as I had hoped and it worked on very few surfaces. I couldn't use it on my tile or wood floors, and it didn't work very well on my berber carpets. The only place it did work was on my short pile carpet, and only after several passes over the debris. It's a cute, light weight tool, and one that even my kids would have fun using when they helped out around the house. It's just too bad that it would be a lot of wasted energy. Unfortunately, its uses are limited and it's still quicker and more effective to drag out my usual vacuum cleaners.
