Fruit Platter Ingredients
Donna Pilato
It's easy to create a professional looking fruit platter. The key to doing this is to cut and slice your fruit into similar size and shape pieces. Choose a seasonal assortment of fruit that won't turn brown when sliced and exposed to the air as apples and bananas do. For this platter I chose a pineapple, cantalope, strawberries and mangoes, the best that were available in my market at the time. All of these fruits can be sliced the night before you serve the platter without the fruit turning colors.
