This week's tip has been submitted by Ornaments to Remember.
You may never have thought to use ornaments as part of your entertaining decorations and gift giving. But here are several fun and easy ways to add a little whimsy to your party.
Table Centerpieces
For a sweet conversation piece, set out a fancy plate of truffle and candy ornaments on your dining room or buffet table. (Use caution around children or grown-ups who act like children.) Add a circle of ornaments, greenery, and ribbons that match your other decor to add even more color and texture. The candy ornaments also make fun take-home party gifts for your guests.
Table Place Settings
Enhance your dinner menu with a coordinating display of ornaments as part of the table setting. Serving Chinese? Use take-out boxes and fortune cookie ornaments at each place setting. Serving Mexican? Use sombrero, pinata, and chili pepper ornaments for a festive table top display. Serving Sushi? Use sushi ornaments to decorate your table.
Party Favors
Ornaments make perfect party favors during the holiday season. Have a display of ornaments set up near the front door. When welcoming guests, mention the ornaments are gifts for when they leave.
Ornaments to Remember offers hundreds of imaginative blown-glass ornaments that are hand-crafted by European artisans. Profits from their sale goes to The Learning Community, a non-profit, public-benefit corporation whose mission is parent education.
