I am currently planning my daughter's wedding and reception which is going to be a sit down dinner. I desperately need an accurate head count, as each place setting is expensive. For all those gracious people that I know have the common sense and courtesy to respond, I will send a printed RSVP card. Since some people are just too lazy and inconsiderate to walk to the mailbox to mail the response card, I am also enclosing "photo" magnets with the response information, along with an email address and phone number. If they don't lose the magnet, and stick it on the their refrigerator as soon as they receive it, I'll be okay.
I am not using the small business card size which can get lost under all the other trash people have hanging on their refrigerators. I am using the "photo" magnet which is larger but still small enough to fit in the envelope. VistaPrint has really great prices. I couldn't order rsvp cards printed for the price VistaPrint gives on these magnets. I was able to design my own which was great. I'm sure there will still be some calls I'll have to make to invited (non-responding) guests, but maybe this will help the rsvp problem. We shall see!!!
Thanks for the tip Sue!
