Carol says about this cake: "I made the Ariel Cake for my niece, Tamryn, on her 5th birthday. She loves the Little Mermaid, Ariel, and so I made her an Ariel cake which was just over a metre long. I had to floodwork Ariel in three sections because she was so big. The sides of the cake are decorated with chocolate shells and seaweed. I love making cakes, I find unusual cakes a real challenge."
