Pirate Ship Cake

This cake was created for a co-workers son, he was having a pirate themed party. You can find the Pirate Ship Cake Kit online. The kit also comes with instructions on how to construct your cake. The instructions use a 1/4 sheet but I wanted a big ship and used a 1/2 sheet, and also doubled, tripled or even quadupled layers in some areas. Warning make sure you check placement before icing the cake, and the treasure chest comes with no treasure! I just used a mardi gras necklace and cut it up. Make sure to keep small parts away from the kiddos!
