Happy Pirate Theme Cupcakes

I made this cupcake cake for my son's 4th birthday party. We had a "happy pirate" themed party as opposed to a scary pirate party. It took 35 cupcakes from box mix, some of the icing was homemade, some bought. I always draw out my design (which for this cake was taken from another picture on this site) on a large piece of paper first, freehand would be a nightmare for me! The eyepatch is a plastic favor & the gold is foil covered chocolates.
