Dragon Fly Cake

I made this Dragon Fly cake for my daughter's 7th birthday. We had the party at our local Nature Center, so the theme was nature related. The body and eyes are made of cake and the wings were made from melted sugar that I drizzled in the shape of wings. I baked the eyes in a small metal bowl. We used colored sprinkles to make the patterns.
