Father's Day Cake

We made this cake for my husband on Father's Day. It was created from a recipe we found on Family Fun. I baked two cake layers, an 8" round and an 8" square. Once they were cooled, I cut the round layer down the center for the two letter "D"s, and cut off the top corners of the square layer to create a triangle for the letter "A". After that, the kids took over with the frosting and the decorating. It was a very easy and fun way to celebrate the Dad in our house.
