Checker Board Cake
My husband and daughters made this cake for me for Mother's Day because I like chocolate so much. They baked a nine inch square brownie cake. They frosted the cake with a cream cheese frosting (which worked well to cut the sweetness of the other ingredients). The squares were made from 15 after-dinner mint chocolates. The game pieces are Hershey's kisses and Life Saver creme mints. Checkers, anyone?
