Where to Go for Help with Menu Planning

To reduce your entertaining anxiety, turn to the following sites for assistance with your menu planning. Most allow you to select a meal type such as poultry, vegetarian, etc. Some allow you to specify cooking time, and others permit you to list the ingredients in your pantry, then put together a menu requiring little or no extra shopping. Finally, if you do need to buy ingredients, many sites put together a shopping list for you once you've selected among their recipes.

Better Homes and Gardens Menu Planner
Lots of fresh ideas for menu planning, especially good for creating a seasonal meal. Besides great recipes, they will also create a shopping list for you.

Betty Crocker

Birds Eye Recipe Search
Search here for recipes by type or ingredient. Site will even prepare a shopping list for you.

iVillage.com Menu Planning
If you don't have time to pour over your cookbooks and plan a menu, use this tool from iVillage.com to have a menu planned for you.

Nabisco Recipes
