Mother Goose Baby Shower Game

A Game for a Baby Shower

By , About.com Guide

See what kind of babysitters your guests would make with this brain tickling Mother Goose Game! Give out sheets of paper and pencils to your guests. Pick phrases from nursery rhymes, read them aloud to your guests and have them write down the rhymes the phrases belong to. Then the hostess reads the lines again and guests call out the name of the associated rhyme. The one with the most correct guesses wins.

For example:

"When she got there, the cupboard was bare." - Old Mother Hubbard

"He stuck in his thumb and pulled out a plum." - Little Jack Horner
