Guide Review - I Am What I Ate and I'm Frightened!!!
Bill Cosby has done it again. He's captured a slice of life that most of us can relate to and chewed upon it until the bitterness disappears and the reader is left with the sweet taste of humor. With all the dire warnings about our unhealthy lifestyles, most of us know deep down inside that someday it's going to catch up to us. After a visit to the doctor, Bill Cosby discovered that his passions in life have caught up to him and now he's in trouble. The high fat food he loves so well can only be eaten "once in a while" which leads to many meanderings on how often that is, and whether it's truly possible to follow his doctor's recommendations. The grim discovery that his efforts to exercise leave him in the dust of an old man and obese women is simply more fuel for comedic explorations. Of course, Cosby wouldn't write a book that was only self-centered. His grandmother's secret food obsessions are revealed, as well as his good friend's smoking habits. Other family members also make an appearance in this soon-to-be-classic in the Cosby archives.
