Guide Review - Entertaining Edibles by Sid Escowitz

After enjoying Entertaining Edibles, you'll never look at fruits and vegetables in the same light again. You'll find yourself wandering down the produce aisle of your local market and instead of seeing a yellow pepper, you'll see a head for your next food creation. This book takes the time-honored child's custom of playing with your food and turns it into an art form.

Not only will you have fun making these 50 food sculpture projects, you can use the results of your creativity as table decorations for a multitude of events. The instructions are very good and the photographs give you a perfect example of what you're about to create. My only warning is that you will need to guage the appropriate size of your materials on your own, since no size information is provided. But if you're someone who enjoys this kind of whimsical play, that shouldn't be a problem.

My kids keep begging me to let them read the book, and they've lined up all the projects they'd like to help create. You'll find yourself smiling as you consider all the possibilities and plan your future projects, too.
