Party Description
An indoor house party after dinner time is a fun, inexpensive option. Serve snack foods and plenty of soft drinks throughout the evening. If you have the budget for it, bring out something heartier around 11p.m. or midnight such as submarine sandwiches, pizza or burgers. Have your sound system set up in the main party area with plenty of music selections. Make a few active board games available such as Pictionary or even Twister.
Planning Elements
- Select the date and make the guest list.
- Send invitations.
- Plan snacks and drinks. Lots of snack foods, veggie and dip trays, and little pizza bites would be enjoyed. Have plenty of soft drinks, water and juices available. A huge birthday cake that's served in the middle of the evening should be the show-stopping dessert.
- Music will be very important at this party. Have a sound system in each of the party rooms. Also, have music videos set to play on a TV in one of the rooms.
- With your daughters' assistance, purchase or borrow party games that might be enjoyed by her friends.
Party Favor Suggestion
Send the gang home with "snack attack" packs. Include single serving snacks, cookies, and chocolate bars.
