Guide Review - Things You Need to Be Told by the Etiquette Grrls
Picture the "Sex & The City" gals trying to impress Emily Post and you will have a good idea what this very humorous book accomplishes. It's hip, sassy and a teeny bit pretentious, but that adds to the fun. The Etiquette Grrls combine solid etiquette advice with enough "attitude" to appeal to the most supercilious youngster. Considering the rampant decline of manners in our modern world, I applaud these authors, no matter how tongue-in-cheek they package their advice. I just wish, Dear Reader, they could do it without all of that annoying Capitalization. But perhaps I'm too old to fully appreciate it. So be it. I will pass this book along to the younger members in my family who can benefit from a fun lesson in social considerations.
