Guide Review - The Gift of Good Manners
Part parenting advice book, part etiquette guide, this book does a good job of reminding adults about the basics of good manners for both themselves and their kids. After all, the issue isn't whether an infant has good manners, but whether the parent is considerate of others when taking the infant in public places. And as the Posts argue, if children are given good examples of manners from infancy, they will grow to be considerate, polite adults. So although this book is presented as a guide to manners for children, in reality it is a refresher course for the parents.
