Guide Review - Home Cheese Making

This book is an updated edition of Cheesemaking Made Easy, a classic reference book that has sold 100,000 copies. Author Ricki Carroll has updated the cheese recipes as well as adding 60 news recipes for using the finished cheeses. The book succeeds in removing the mystery from this process that requires a lot of attention to technical details. There are explanations of the terminology and ingredients unique to cheesemaking, as well as sources for the required materials. As an added bonus, there are recipes for other dairy products such as yogurt. Included are helpful trouble-shooting tips for typical cheesemaking problems. This book is an excellent learning tool for beginners and a useful reference for more experiened cheesemakers.
