Tip of the Week

Look here each Monday for a new tip to make entertaining a snap.

A Souper Lunch

Now that the air is beginning to take on a chill, planning a luncheon for friends couldn't be simpler. After all, what could be more welcome than a warming bowl of soup and a loaf of bread that has been freshly baked or warmed in the oven? Forget about gazpacho and serve a warming bowl of tomato soup instead. Or use the late developing ears of corn in a hearty pot of corn chowder. Accompany the soups with a loaf of bread that showcases fresh herbs before the first frost hits.

Finally, finish the meal with a freshly baked or heated apple pie.
