Pool Party Tips and Niceties
If you're one of those fortunate homeowners who have a pool to share with others, here are some tips to lessen your work, and add some thoughtful touches for guests at your next pool party.
- Ask your guests to bring their own towels to your party, thereby minimizing your post party laundry. You can always say that you don't have enough to go around (of course, have a few extra on hand for the inevitable guest who forgets.)
- If your guests include small children, ask parents to bring their own pool toys so that there won't be squabbles because you have too few.
- Buy several pairs of beach flip-flops for guests who forget to bring pool shoes.
- Offer your guests plastic bags to use for their wet bathing suits.
