Tip of the Week

Look here each Monday for a new tip to make entertaining a snap

Keep on Rockin'

Whatever your taste is in music, take the time to plan your musical selections before your party begins. If you can pre-load a multiple CD cartridge with music for the entire duration of your event, all the better. Music adds to the life of your party in a very subliminal way. If there's a lull in conversation, music can fill in the blank spots. It can also help to create your ambience whether it's smooth and sophisticated or rock and roll crazy.

With your music selected in advance, you won't have to leave your guests to scrounge among your CD stack for the next suitable selection. If you don't have a multiple CD cartridge, make a separate stack of your planned selections, and assign one of your children or close guests the responsibility for making sure the music plays on.

If you have a tip you'd like to share, you can now use our simple submission form. If selected, I will post it with your name in future weeks.
