Tip of the Week

Look here each Monday for a new tip to make entertaining a snap!

That Poor, Forgotten Hors D'oeuvre

Have you ever lovingly prepared a variety of hors d'oeuvres for your guests and forgotten to serve one? Or, did you ever forget to serve the mint jelly you purchased especially for the leg of lamb? It's so easy amidst all the details of entertaining to forget some of the items you had purchased especially for your party.

So the next time you plan a party, prepare a checklist of all the items you plan to serve with their accompaniments, to use during your party. If you find you have extra time, you can even turn these into souvenir menus to place at the table for each guest. And, best of all, no hors d'oeuvre will find itself left on the shelf.

If you have a tip you'd like to share, you can now use our simple submission form. If selected, I will post it with your name in future weeks.
