Tip of the Week

Look here each Monday for a new tip to make entertaining a snap!

Taking it Easy Out on the Course

Golfing is a wonderful way to entertain business clients, as long as you and your guests have some familiarity with the game. A round of golf will typically last four hours, giving you many opportunities to build your business relationship, as well as pitch your new product or idea.

But if you or your clients are less than proficient at the sport, take off some of the stress that can develop when there's a crowd around the tee box. Do this by scheduling your outing at less popular times in the day. During the mid-morning or mid-afternoon on weekdays, many courses are nearly empty. That way, you or your inexperienced guests can hit that dreaded tee shot under the watchful eyes of only your foursome.

If you have a tip you'd like to share, email your Guide at entertaining.guide@about.com. If selected, I will post it with your name in future weeks.
