A Tricky Guest List Question

Every so often I like to feature a question I've received from a reader because, sometimes, the hardest part about hosting a party is the interpersonal issues which are the topic of most of the questions I receive. For example, you're planning a party with the hope and expectation that everyone will have a good time. Unfortunately, sometimes you'd like to invite guests that you know don't like one another, even though you get along well with each of them. Just what should you do? Should you invite guests to your party that you know don't get along?
