Have an Hors d'Oeuvres Party
Monday December 1, 2008
It was a food filled holiday weekend for us. As always, we went to my parents' home for Thanksgiving. My Mom cooked the lion's share of the delicious food, although I contributed a few goodies including cranberry sauce, a key lime pie (at my daughters' request), and an apple pie. My sister and sister-in-law added a few dishes to the pot luck spirit of our meal, as well. Later in the weekend we were entertained by friends with whom we had a lot of catching up to do. They invited us and another family over for a wine tasting - hors d'oeuvres party. Of course, there were also a few desserts! There was so much food that, had there been a main course, we would never have been able to eat it. This confirms my long held belief that an Hors d'Oeuvres Party can keep your guests plenty happy. Try one this holiday season.

That Hors’d'Oeuvres party sounds delightful and so much less hassle than a full blown meal. We are having one to-morrow but we call it a drinks and nibbles party, hope it’s as successful as yours!
