Giving Thanks

Tuesday November 25, 2008
Amid the hustle bustle, the turkey thawing times, the table setting, and the pie baking, it's easy to lose sight of what Thanksgiving is really about. It's a day we set aside to pause in our busy-ness, and remember everything for which we are grateful. Some families have a traditional prayer or grace they recite before the Thanksgiving feast. Other may have forgotten that tradition over the years. If you're looking to bring a mealtime prayer back to your table, this collection of graces will remind you of traditional blessings. If you have one in your home that isn't in this collection, feel free to share it in our comments.

thanks for the wonderful reminder about what Thanksgiving is truly about–I really love to have children say grace–they often think of the funniest or most touching things. Happy Holidays.
