A Tween Party Icebreaker

I received a 911 call today from a friend who was throwing a birthday party for her 11-year-old after school. She had a little time to kill before pizza and rollerskating, and was looking for a party game to keep the kids busy. I suggested a very simple game that we used for my daughter's last birthday. This party icebreaker requires no supplies or expense, takes very little time to prepare, and is perfect for this group of older grade schoolers, also know as "tweens".

this is a cute idea. my daughter had some friends from school that didn’t know each other and by the end of the game, they were talking as if they had known each other forever!!!!!!!

Glad it worked for you. It’s worked great every time I’ve used it with my girls. And the best part is that it takes no prep time or expense!
