Wedding Bells
Wednesday July 2, 2003
I attended a wedding last weekend where guests received a lovely "send-off" item after the ceremony. Instead of the usual rice, birdseed, or bubbles, (all of which can cause a mess in their own way), small silver bells with a lavender ribbon and poem attached to the top were passed out to the guests. The poem reads as follows: "This tiny Wedding bell salutes the Bride and Groom and the joy that fills the room. Ring it loud, when they are near, so all may hear the pledge of love they hold so dear." If you need help with bridal shower planning, you'll find plenty of assistance in Planning a Bridal Shower.
